Child Led Play Therapy
& Counselling

Children & Teenagers don't always have the words to express how they feel – but through play, they can tell their story. Play therapy is a gentle and effective way to help children process big emotions, trauma, and life changes.

Who It's For:

  • Children & Teenagers experiencing anxiety, sadness, or behavioural changes

  • Kids impacted by separation, loss, or trauma

  • Children & Teenagers struggling with school, friendships, or social skills

What Happens in a Session:
Through imaginative play, drawing, role play and storytelling, your child is supported to explore emotions, develop coping skills, and feel understood – all in a child-friendly space that honours their pace and preferences.

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Book the initial parent consultation online and complete the Intake form

  2. Attend the Initial 1 hour parent consultation, to learn all about the child, including the treatment goals and behaviours of concern.

  3. Child attends play therapy session/s

  4. Regular parent consultations to check in and discuss progress of the treatment goals

  5. We then work collaboratively with the school, providing strategies to assist with the behaviours of concern.
